I havent blogged in ages!.. which is very un like me because since TY has started all i want to so when i enter the computor room is blog! which is kinda bad because it distracts you from 'actual schoolwork' ahh well :)
What have i been doing lately..well
Monday i spent the whole day in the hall painting the backdrop for the musical, was pretty fun actually, just listening to tunes in the hall and painting. My dream day :) altough wasnt so good when i got home and realised i was covered in paint, that didnt come off very easy!
Ive been baking :) italian cookies :D yuum.. thats home ec for ye!
Ive been working hard for the musical, its in less than a week and we still have to get a few more things for wardrobe but hopefully making a move on it! because from now on were going to have non-stop rehersals (dress rehersals) which is kinda scarey cause that means its all up to us now :S ahhh! but well get everything done in time and it will be great :D
tomorrow! we are going to a ballet show, that should be good :) i heard ballet was supposed to be a great show to watch so hopefully we dont all fall asleep like the opera :) and if the bus is as good as it was for the opera, well than that will just make my day :D
umm..prettty sure thats it, probaly should be getting a move on with the whole studying for the 4 tests we have -.- but sure that can wait :D cause were in TY..wooo! :)
well im going to go and finish my geography slideshow..fun

Here i am ..
Well here i am in work experience, your probaly wondering why im blogging in work experience but i have a good reason! see im doing my work experience in a graphic design studio and im on my lunch break at the moment, and everyone jut sits there looking at their computors researching things and what not :L so i thought instead of facebook and the lot i would make ms.Leahy proud and BLOG ! :D
also this is saving my work load when i go back to school...
SO. first of all omg i was beyond nervous starting this morning! :O walking into a big building full of people doing their every day job looking at me like what was i doing here, i walked in witht my supervisor and i think everyone thought that he was my dad or something and it was take your kid to work day cause they all gave me smiles like were keeping the boss happy .. kinda creepy but also welcoming :)
personally i dont know what is going on most the time, but the girl im sitting beside us lovely and she is here to help me..well thats what she told me :) so im getting the hang of things, the office is soo cool! they make all the posters for things like chocolate, dairy milk, tesco, sally hansen, koka noodles, and lots more i just looked around and those were the first ones i saw!
im currently working on a calender, doesnt sound like much fun but im photo shopping which is VERY cool! :L anyways im gonna go have the rest of my lunch, ill be on this alot during the week id say so talk to you then :)

trying to think of a smart title for religion activities?
On tuesday in Religion we were sent down to the hall and all made stand up against the wall, and we were all giving a different piece of paper. It all had differnt infromation about people on it, and as ms.leahy read out different pieces we would take a step forward if it was true and stay where we were if it wasnt.
Looong story short, at the end the first world people ended up at the top of the hall , there was a big gap then at the end of the hall it was all the third world people :L
So basically we had fun playing a game and also saw how it was to feel like a first world person to the third world people.
It was Fun :D

this is what its all about :)
Well were back from Midterm 2 days and already its gotten pretty busy! but as Ms.Leahy said 'in TY you should be stressed'.
Well i think ive achieved that anyway, cause lunch time was just full on busy..
with the sound of music coming up and me being on wardrobe we are being told we need to go to rehersals now and thats 4 days a week! :O even though we dont go every day we have to go most days, so yeah im enjoying ty but there is alot.. LIKE
WORK EXPERIENCE! woooo i cant wait for that even though im gonna be so scared :s but hoepfully ill get something out of it :)
ohh no we also have a geography project thats due for next class, boo hoo :( me and ellen just finished it there! :D

history doesnt get much better than missing class :)
Yesterday we had a history talk with Mr.Doohan, he was the principal of my old school, so i knew i was in for a big history talk! Hes really into it so we all knew we were in for a long 'why is our local town important?' talk :L
But suprisingly it was good, i actually found it pretty inresting to hear all the things about our local town and how its famous all over the world. I really liked seeing pictures of things we see everyday and actually getting to hear the story behind it :)
so now when im walking down my town, i can say i know the story behind it! woo

who ever said TY's a doss?
STREES STRESS STRESS!
this week is actually more stressful than last! i didnt even think that was possible, not only now do i have all my projects to do and finish and actually make them good but now i also have the sound of music on top of that, the other day we were giveing our jobs in the play i was put into wardrobe.
So we were given a list of things we had to get and to be honest it was close to impossible! BUT we still did it, we had a meeting today ( the wardrobe department) and that went well we diveded the things up to get and everyone pretty much had most of the stuff, throw in a few vintage shops and we had everything :D apar from.. White knee high socks and navy pleeted skirts.
SO me and ellen hit the first year mall and went around and asked people if they had the things, we got everything apar from 1 skirt out of 7 ! :O
Even though this is beyond stressful, its sooo much fun!
im loving every minute of ty <3

whats going on in ty?..
Hmm.. lately weve had alot going on in TY..
Mini company is finally getting going! after our workshop we all put our heads down and made sure we got things done, we have a mini company meeting every tuesday, first one is next week :) so that should be a bant in sarah kellys gaff :D
Town :) This day was such a bant, the mueseums were pretty good like we had a worksheet so that kept us amused, and it was a good bonding day :D Then we went mcdonalds then we headed up to see Juno and The Paycock! :O it was sooo gooood, such a good (yet educational) school day.
The sound of Music, today me and ellen found out we were doing costume in the school musical, that should be intresting :) Hopefully we get sarah considering shes in the play and we prettty tight with her! i actually am looking forward to the play should be real good to see it all come together.
Geography :O our projects are due pretty soon, well the first part anyways so hopefully ill get a good start on that :)
Young Scientist Need to finish off doing surverys around the school , we got to miss class on monday to do surverys so its going well, our project is about how your birth month affects the type of person you are, so surveys have a lot of questions like 'are you creative and whats your average grade and stuff ' people do their surveys so SLOW though! but atleast were getting people to do them at all , hopefully the results come out well :D

OPERA. were working on our mini opera in class our opera is based on 'the jerry springer show' but we made a few changes, its now called 'The paddy murphy show' its hilarious! we started singing today, getting lines adn music ready :) im part of the costume department but today was helping with music and things and also working with fiona on how to sing lines while ms. Gilsen played the piano :) all the bant i must say!
I think thats all thats going on in TY at the moment, but its alot! :O
enjoying every minutee :D

Towny ;)
Tomorrow we get to miss a whole day of our boring wednesday school to go to TOWN :D We have lots of things planned, we go to the bog bodies muesum and then the WB yeats muesum , ms.cosgrove was teaching us about both in class because she didnt want us to get there and not have a clue about anything! She said were good spoofers ;) Well then.. were going to see the play we've being studying in school , Juno and The Paycock :D But thats at like 2 so it doesnt mean well be back until like 5 or someting :L but that aside, im really looking forward to seeing the play because in class it was kind of confusing so now atleast seeing it in person i might get a better undestanding for it, yaaay :)

Well yesterday we had our 2nd mini company workshop in newbridge. It was a great bit of banter, but when i say banter i mean it was buisness all over again. It was eveyrthing ms,plunkett said in class all over again, although it was good hearing other peoples ideas :L
After was the best bit when we got to the CHICK KING! :O best place ever. it was alll chickeny, i got HOT POPPIN CHICKEN..nom nom nom, actually it was pretty sick but thats for another day.
even though i was disapointed with my poppin chicken and chips it was still good :)
The funniest bit of the day had to be getting aoife annoyed..lolage.
Right thats all i have to say about that day, oh and when we were on our way back and ms.leahy called someone a hussy for waving at this guy that walked by. LOL

Educating Essex..
After not winning the fun run, boo hoo banba! although we have been told to say 'well done' because we dont want to be as competetive as everyone is saying :L
anyways..after not winning the fun run ms.leahy popped on EDUCATING ESSEX! what a show, its funny to see how other schools worked and the problems that go on in schools and nobody really knows about them. This is one of those 'keep your teacher happy' blogs :L because ms.leahy said we could watch it only if we blogged, so here it goes :) I found the programme great and yeah bullying is bad..i have LOOADS of notes about it in my folder :D so its all goood :) right, im off to do more fun blogs (:

5 things i want to do this and next week for TY
5 things i want to do this week and next week for TY.
1. This week i want to win the fun walk with our classes amazing dance! :O we want to hopefully get our dance perfecto by tomorrow! so we really have to get it right, but we have a double pe class which means we will get it great! :D
2. Next week i want to go see the play weve been studying in english 'Juno and the Paycock' Ms. Brogan is taking us out to see it so hopefully that will be fun :) we havent had that many trips so far, but hopefully this is the start of alot more to come.
3. I want to really get our mini-company idea going, me ellen and aoife have moved to another group, were making ipod covers :D so hopefully that should work out well! I really want to get going on that and hopefully have a prototype soon. Were going to a workshop next week too so that should help us alot :)
4. For geography i want to get atleast two countries done, we have to do 4 :) so i really want to get a move on with that!
5. I REALLY need to type up my irish project about myself, i dont want to but it still needs to be done :L
So i think thats all im doing for this and next week :) ohh i want to take some pretty cool pictures in photgraphy too :D ..even if i forgot my camera, oppps :D

fun run gets competitive !
With the FUN RUN on friday every class it defiantly getting their dances and costumes together but especailly us TY's. Every year ty's have great dances and completely out to the other years and this is what is driving our class on to win! and it doesnt help that Ms.O' Callaghan our tutor is being extra competitive :L her and Mr.Lawlor are going for the win, its gotten to the stage now where were being taken out of class to practice for it and all, and the teachers have being caught spying on eachother a few times.. mainly Mr.Lawlor though. Everybody is talking about it at lunch complaining about how the other class is so competitive but really were all as bad as eachother :L i was gonna say a few things about our dance ;) but dont want people snooping around my page getting ideas about our routine.. not good! :O

Today being tuesday we had creative writing with Ms.Ward. She told us that we needed to blog about our diary writing, so here it is :) Weve only started diary writing in the last week, i really like it because its not just a essay or a reveiw its more personal than that and we can really express emotions that come across. Today in creative writing we were learning about different emotions and how they effective our bodies, i was in a group with aisling and aoife! and we got the emotion of depression. So we had to connect the emotion with our body emotions and how our body felt while we had this emotion. I found it really intresting and i thought it really helped with my diary writing :)

and its only wednesday..
After a long weekend coming in on monday morning seemed like the hardest thing ever! tuesday wasnt so bad when we heard we had a mass, but then we found out it was through double tech. I LOVE tech <3 so that was a defiante buzkill -.-
and today is wednesday and its only third class of the day, Ms.ward has left us today so Ms. Leahy has taken us to the computor room to blog! :D best thing ive heard all day 'lets go blog'

JC nighttt ;)
it was defiantly worth the wait! Everyone was soo buzzed up getting the results and the buzz got bigger when we finally opened the envelopes :)
Everyone went around hugging eachother because we were all so happy, it was so cute :')
SUCH A GOOD NIGHT!..one to remember but i wont get into detail about it on my blog :L
now were all feeling the effects of this eventful week, and its a friday and instead of the usually banter pretty much everyone is going home to sleep, fun fun fun! But the week was defiantly worth being tired today for :L

Carlingford
Carlinford! theres so much to say about it, first of all it was a great 2 days! We headed off at 7 in the morning and arrived there about 9 and we were sent up a big mountain carrying these massive guns. hard work much? but we went laser shooting and that was epic :) Everyone was buzzed up after that and we headed for lunch and then out to the carlingford challenges! FUN :D they were a great buzz, the guy who was doing them with us what called john, what a ledgend <3
Then at night we went for a nightline, that was walking the dark forest blindfoled, doesnt get much better than that ;)
Then we went and got some chips in the chipper and back to the common rooms, a little sing along was happening, we were joined by a boys ty group too so that was a buzz :D
the next day after an eventful night everyone was wrecked! so when we were told we were going rockclimbing and absailing we werent as happpy as we should of been, but it was still goood :) and then orientering, which was boring but we got lost which made it fun!
NEVER did so much climbing in my life :L
but we all had a ball, and were pretty happy going home because we were all wrecked :)

Ty so far (:
Its our 2nd week of TY, and so far I think pretty much eveyrone loves it! Its so different than any other year, and even though theres still work you dont mind because its something you enjoy, we have all made a good few new friends already. Im in class fodla, i love my class! Weve all gotten closer and its only the 2nd week :) We've been given a project already in geography, Its a virtual world tour. I like doing the project because its really different to any of the projects ive done before, we have to book flights and accomodation all on a budget and make sure we learn things about the country at the same time and we have to do the trip over a year! We already have a few trips planned, like next week we have Carlingford :D Were all so excited for that, were going on monday morning to tuesday evening and than in october were going to a play, and a few more things coming up.
ty has been greaaat so far, and cant wait for the rest of it! :)

Social Development :D
It's our 2nd week of TY and on tuesday it was fodlas day for socail development. A man called Austen did the day with us, when we first came in we had to sit in order of what month we were born, we all found this good because we got to sit beside people we wouldnt usually talk to and so we all got talking and are now closer :)
He then put us into groups and he gave us a big page and we had to write down what we wanted from TY, pretty much everyone said that they want our class to become closer and that they wanted TY to be a fun year full of banter! We did loads more excercises in different groups and he split us into different personaility groups, this was good because we got to talk to new people.
I really enjoyed the day and i think our class came closer! which is good for carlingford coming up! :D
Overall i really liked the day and Austen is a ledgend and Aisling wants to marry him, so atleast we got something out of the day :D

He then put us into groups and he gave us a big page and we had to write down what we wanted from TY, pretty much everyone said that they want our class to become closer and that they wanted TY to be a fun year full of banter! We did loads more excercises in different groups and he split us into different personaility groups, this was good because we got to talk to new people.
I really enjoyed the day and i think our class came closer! which is good for carlingford coming up! :D
Overall i really liked the day and Austen is a ledgend and Aisling wants to marry him, so atleast we got something out of the day :D
