'Play' Day :)

Well today we went on a trip to mullingar, as the other two TY classes were entered in the little competition of short plays . So Fódla the supportive class we are went to be a great audience, lucky enough we dedicated an english class over one day to 'how to be a good audience' so at this stage we were pros! very supportive and gave great advice through rehearsals :) 


Anyway, We left the school at 9 and got onto the bus and headed to mullingar (fódla on the small bus once again) it took an hour to get there but with a few tunes and a good chat we were there! Everyone was so nervous about their plays so we just stood there saying the reassuring words 'you'll be fine' or 'break a leg' (its bad luck to wish good luck!)  
So after we dumped the bags we walked into a big blue theatre with lots of seats and a lovely black scary stage! At this stage fódla were glad to be the audience for the day. 
after 15 minutes of quick rehearsals from the other classes and our class tired of shouting 'we cant hear you!' it finally got kicked off, and the judge for the day walked in, and it was SHOWTIME! :D


So the plays... 
I loved all the plays, there was one about bullying and the effects on teenage drama such as underage pregnancies, cheating, and non trust worthy people, and drugs. 
One based on the poem 'Timity Withers' go Vicky and Niamh! 
one based on a poem about death of a 4 year old child
One based on a song. 




So there was a lot, after all of our plays we headed to mcdonalds for a bit to eat and interesting conversation! 
Then we saw one more play, if im totally honest I didnt have a clue what it was about! but was funny :) 
A bus trip back home and we were done! Such a great day, and wish the girls all the best in the results :)  ooh and thanks to the teachers for bringing us!

5th year waah?

Today was going pretty well until I went to careers class, and he brought out the leaving cert subject options.. here we go again, even though its ages away they need to get a move on with the subjects!  So all the teachers are giving us talks on their subjects, you can imagine the buzz of that!
But not to worry, I have a few ideas of what subjects I want to do, ART being my main one :)
HON THE ART !
and then biology and then maybe history or geography im not too sure yet, but ill know soon enough :)
okay i realise this isnt the most intresting post ever so im going to casually change the subject from school to after school!  today im doing cercit training, woo with ellen and sarah :)




ohh its actually a lovely day outside, sitting at the window beside Meg and Ellen :)

So..thats all for now I got to go and send out some work experience forms, im soo late getting work experience ahhh!

oh no..

i just realised I only have 27 posts on my blog, thought I had a alot more! disapointment :(
thats it! im posting more from now on, thats one of my new years resolutions :)

New things :)

After a hard week back in school i think were all pretty much back into the flow of things! So to help the week go on we have activities today, like we do every thursday evening :D but theres a difference! there NEW..
So instead were doing massages, ZUMBA DANCING, band or something :)
Buzzzzzz !
im actaually pretty excited about zumba, thats going to be soo good! and ofcourse looking forward to the other activites too :D

AND then tomorrow were heading off to the young scientists, ive been getting through my week knowing that we have friday off!

Back again..

Well unfortuently all good things must come to an end, today is our first day back after our nearly 3 weeks christmas break! I dont need to tell you how hard it was to get my self out of bed and dressed and have breakfast, but i managed! Usually i would still be asleep at this stage. Considering i would go to bed most night in the early hours of the morning then rise late morning laze around for a while then get on with my day :) ah what i would do to still be on holidays! BUT as i said all good things must come to an end, even if that does mean end to the partys, late nights, discos, watching movies all night, endless sleepovers, shopping trips and just doing NOTHING because you can :) but it has to end, and theres nothing better than a good old PE class to get us going in the moring, yep i said it PE first class! :O
You can imagine how tired i was already considering most days i would be in a deep sleep at 9 oclock in the morning, but ofcourse we had pe..enough said it was torture even though it wasnt that hard it still wasnt as good as a desk to put my head on and sleep :)


your probably getting bored (if you havent already stopped reading) of my toughts about how tired i was so ill stop.
So here i am in a free spanish class (made my day) in the computor room sitting beside Sarah Hart doing her science experiment while i blog, as you can tell im a very hard worker !
Nah i do try i just finished off my geography project there and found some places for work experience so im grand, but Ms.Leahy really needs to see a blog from me cause its been too long since i last blogged!

umm..
i think thats pretty much my thoughts on the day so far, as you can see im doing more sleeping then thinking, but i still wont be able to sleep tonight -_-  maybe its a good thing that im tired then atleast ill actually TRY to go to bed early :)

speaking on thinking i really need to find out what i have next!..get more tests back YAY! (sarcasm)
